Managing and Working Remotely During COVID-19 and The Preparation To Return To The Workplace

Managing and Working Remotely During COVID-19 and The Preparation To Return To The Workplace Main Image

The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically changed the way we live and work. The current restrictions have resulted in a massive increase in the number of office-based employees working from home. Many of us have had to adapt to a ‘new normal’ and radically different ways of working and communicating. Now more than ever, it is important to ensure that remote workers are not left ‘out of sight, out of mind’ and that their wellbeing is at the forefront of your agenda.

Why?

Increased Engagement and Productivity

Our data driven approach allows your people to voice how they are feeling,  coping and adapting as well as providing insight into actions that can be taken to better support them, enabling them to feel engaged and in turn improve engagement, productivity and performance.

Duty of Care

It is important to ensure that your employees feel valued, engaged, empowered and encouraged when working remotely. Your people are the most important asset to your organisation, and you have a duty of care responsibility to them. Checking in on remote workers can present more challenges as opposed to seeing them face-to-face in an office environment, which is why it is increasingly important to ensure they are equipped with the skills, tools and equipment to work effectively from home. Most importantly, do your managers, team leaders and supervisors have the tools, skills, confidence and training to be able to manage effectively in a remote working environment?

Thriving in a Post-Normal World

The world has changed drastically and even once restrictions start to ease, we are all adapting to the new normal way of living and working. It is highly unlikely we will return to the ‘way things used to be’ any time soon, if ever!  For some, this will mean that remote working is here to stay and so there is no doubt that it is imperative to have an effective working from home strategy, equipping your employees with the skills to help them thrive in their new working environment/conditions.

HOW?

Free Tools

We want to to empower you to develop a wellbeing strategy that will make a positive, tangible and measurable change. You will find everything you need to get started here:

Has your organisation been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis? We have created a tool to measure the impact that COVID-19 has had on your organisation. This short survey will provide you with a score at the end to indicate how well equipped your organisation is to support your people and manage the impact of coronavirus on their wellbeing.

Wellbeing Insights Audit

Before embarking on an organisational wellbeing journey it’s imperative to have a clear start position. Our Wellbeing Insights Audit is a market leading approach designed to give you absolute clarity on how poor wellbeing is impacting your organisation – both culturally and commercially.

COVID-19 Remote Worker Wellbeing Pulse Survey

COVID-19 has undoubtedly changed the way we work. Our ‘COVID-19 Remote Worker Wellbeing Pulse Survey’ is designed to diagnose the effect that COVID-19 has had on your employees who have had to adjust to working from home or who have been furloughed. It provides your people with the opportunity to voice their feelings on how they have been coping with the current situation and provides valuable insight into the actions you can take to adjust your approach to wellbeing accordingly.

Training/Workshops

Since our inception in 2003, we have been empowering organisations to take charge of their wellbeing through our bespoke workshops and training programmes.  Our training solutions are tailored to your specific needs, whatever your industry, your number of employees and requirements.

Online Virtual Workshops

As a result of the current crisis we have adapted all of our powerful, interactive and engaging workshops so they can be delivered virtually through our online platform.

Our virtual programmes are not passive webinars where you sit quietly watching a screen.  We have done our best to create an online/virtual version of our highly interactive/engaging face to face sessions.  Participants can ask questions, get involved and participate fully.

We have also created some dedicated virtual workshops to reflect the specific challenges your people are likely to face as a result of the Coronavirus crisis and working at home.  Click here for more info:
