This programme is for you if:
Our Mental Wellbeing Ambassadors programme is designed to equip employees to work across the organisation to build support for health and wellbeing initiatives. Inspire and motivate staff to prioritise their own health and wellbeing. As well as to promote good mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. Participants will look into a typical work-related scenario and be equipped on how to support their colleagues at their workplace and remotely. On completion of the course, participants will be able to identify and support team members who may be experiencing mental ill-health, such as depression, anxiety and stress. Participants will be able to provide effective, early intervention and signpost the sources of support their colleagues can benefit from. This programme provides the right foundations to help create a more engaged, happy, and high performing culture. The programme lasts for four days, 2h each day.
Day 1: Mental Health Ambassadors
The first day of the programme will introduce delegates to our Mental Health Ambassadors workshop which has been adopted by Philips and Commonwealth War Graves. Trainers will be introduced to the Stress Management Society’s I.D.E.A.L.S. framework and its unique approach on how best to approach and support others. Trainers will also be encouraged to engage in a question and feedback session to expand their understanding of the workshop contents.
Day 2: Deconstruction and Practice
Day 2 will review and recap day one. Where we remind participants of the key approaches and techniques used to deliver our workshops and learn advanced training skills. Trainers will also have the chance to practice presentation and develop their delivery styles further.
This part of the programme will also prepare participants for the final presentation element of the training course
Day 3: Presentations and Mentor, Peer Review
The final day of the programme requires trainers to deliver a 30-minute presentation based on the content from Day 1 using the approach and style as demonstrated in Day 2.
Trainers will also be provided with feedback on their presentations and will be introduced to the ILM process and next steps on achieving this.
